This is a life-sized, contemporary sculpture of St Francis of Assisi, located within the recently built section of Karrakatta Mausoleum in Kararakatta Cemetery, WA.

The sculpture, made of 316 marine grade stainless steel, stands 180cm tall and weighs 160 kg.

It was commissioned by the Metropolitan Cemeteries Board in order to honour the life and teachings of St. Francis, upon whom the mausoleum is thematically based.
